Myotherapy Massage Center is the location of an office for a small group of massage therapists. Most of us have been massage therapists for over 14 years, with the addition of one newer therapist. Those of us who have been here longer chose to stop working for a full year during the pandemic for the safety of our clients and our families, and continue to take precautions very seriously. As much as we believe massage therapy is important and helpful for a better life, it is even more important that we continue to do what we can for the safety of the entire community.
Our current office policies reflect our commitment to safety for everyone ~ physical, mental, and emotional.
Massage therapy is a personal service that literally involves a hands-on approach. As such, there is no way to "socially distance". Although we have always followed strict cleaning protocols, before the covid-19 pandemic we did not need to require face masks. We do now.
The therapists at Myotherapy Massage Center did not start working again until we were fully vaccinated, and we encourage our clients to be vaccinated as well. That is for *your* safety as well as ours. That does not mean that you have to show proof of vaccination to come to our office, but we do ask that you are honest with us so that we can be aware and fully protect our other clients as well.
If you have any questions about this, please ask.
Although we (the therapists) are vaccinated, there are variants of the disease that may be resistant to the vaccines. And, more variants are evolving as time goes on. Having family and friends in the scientific and medical community makes us very aware of these issues and we are absolutely committed to protecting our clients and families and selves, so we will continue to follow the science and adjust.
We hope that you appreciate our commitment, and look forward to working with those of you who are as committed to public health as we are.
